Artists.

This year we have great events coming up and we need your participation.

We invite artists to submit qualification requests that reflect the themes of community collaboration, education, inspiration, and beautification. Together, let us create a mural that not only beautifies neighborhoods but also sparks meaningful conversations and fosters a sense of pride and identity within communities.

Black Butterfly Farm Mural

Project Information

Our mural project is a testament to the vibrant spirit and diverse tapestry of Baltimore, Maryland. From its humble beginnings with a $500 budget, the project has blossomed into a collaborative endeavor, fueled by community support and generous funding. Through community engagement, we're ensuring that the mural reflects the voices and aspirations of Baltimore's neighborhoods, including Brooklyn Homes, Curtis Bay, and Brooklyn. With a curated selection of talented local artists, each bringing their unique perspective to the canvas, the mural is set to transform a blank space into a vibrant reflection of our city's identity. Stay tuned for updates on upcoming events, including a Community Visioning Session on April 15th and the announcement of the final artist selected on May 5th. The mural's completion is scheduled for July 31st. Join us in celebrating the creativity and unity of Baltimore through this transformative public art project.

Next Steps

Join us for our Community Visioning Session on April 15th at the Greater Baybrook Alliance, where you can contribute your ideas and insights to the mural project.
