Turn your construction site into a platform for Baltimore artists.

AWIP — ArtWorks in Progress — activates construction fences, hoarding, scaffolding, and vacant storefronts with temporary public art. Our entry-tier partnership: fast, flexible, and built to scale.

ArtWorks in Progress.

AWIP is a temporary public art program designed for active construction sites and transitional spaces. The work is installed for the duration of construction or a fixed activation period, then removed or replaced as the site evolves. It's the fastest way to bring meaningful public art to a development project — without the complexity of a permanent commission.

Most AWIP projects move from the first conversation to installed artwork in 8 to 16 weeks. We manage the full process: artist selection, contracts, fabrication, permitting, and installation. The scope scales to your site, from a single fence panel to an entire facade. Every project is professionally documented and includes community programming around the unveiling.
