We are dismantling the traditional gallery model. The Global Baltimore Pop-Up Art & Dinner Series is our signature program, transforming underutilized lots, public parks, and community spaces into vibrant, temporary hubs of art, food, and connection where everyone is welcome.

These aren't quiet, exclusive gallery openings. They are dynamic, multi-sensory experiences, free and open to all. We pair a curated selection of Baltimore's most exciting emerging visual artists with talented local chefs, creating an atmosphere where neighbors can break bread, experience world-class art, and build community in their own backyards.

From our first event at R-House, which provided a first-time public speaking platform for new artists, to our crab feast and outdoor gallery in Brooklyn/Curtis Bay, we have proven that art can thrive anywhere.

The Next Evolution: A Residency in Motion

Beginning in 2026, the series will evolve. Each pop-up will feature one international guest artist alongside our Baltimore's finest. This evolution transforms our pop-ups into a "residency in motion"—a pilot program for our permanent hub. It provides Baltimore artists with a direct line to global creative networks and offers international artists an authentic, community-rooted introduction to our city's powerful creative ecosystem.

Past Event Highlights

Six local artists exhibited their work and sold pieces directly to the public. For many, it was their first time speaking about their art in a public setting.
We transformed the Black Butterfly Farm a Curtis Bay into an outdoor art show and crab feast, bringing artists programming to a historically underserved neighborhood in collaboration with the Farm Alliance of Baltimore
At Unity Hall eight local artists exhibited professionally, connecting with new audiences and honing their gallery experience curated by Arthur Fitzhugh III
We adapted our pop‑up model for the unveiling of our community‑led mural honoring Henrietta Lacks. The celebration featured live jazz from Baltimore trumpeter Brandon Woody and Juilliard alumni members - Jivan Ramesh and Katherine Ella Wood via a family‑style meal from local partners, a muralist talk and storytelling. It fused art, music and food to create a deeply local yet globally informed experience and drew hundreds of attendees to East Baltimore.
