Artist Residency · Flagship Vision

The Hub

A permanent facility for artist residency and international exchange in Baltimore. Studios, apartments, community space, and the infrastructure to host artists from partner cities around the world.

Opening 2029

What Space Unlocks

Most artist residencies in Baltimore are project-based, short-term, or hosted within larger institutions. Baltimore has no facility purpose-built for international exchange, and none that combines residency, public art commissioning, and community programming under one roof.

Nosreme already operates all three programs. What limits them is space. The Hub removes that constraint: more residencies per year, deeper community programming, and the credibility to attract larger international partners.

The Facility
  • On-site artist studios
  • Live/work apartments for residency artists
  • Gallery and exhibition space
  • Flexible community space for exhibitions, story circles, and events
  • Administrative offices for Nosreme operations

Built On What Works

The Hub draws on proven models — each combining live/work residency with public programming. Nosreme adds international exchange as a core layer.
