COMING
SOON!
COMING SOON! — a public work by Wickerham & Lomax — exposes the fraught nature of potential: what remains in a space of becoming and never fully arrives.
This commissioned work is an attempt to harness the everyday as a device to cubistically fracture time and suture it back together in the form of collage.
COMING SOON! presents the vulnerability of the site — and the city — through its materials.

the artistWickerham & Lomax
Wickerham & Lomax are Baltimore-based artists, known for large-scale public installations that explore space, perception, and the built environment.
Their collaborative practice moves between illustration, performance, and place-specific installation — building work that is both intimate and synthetic, personal and public.
ArtWorks in Progress
A public art initiative transforming construction sites to open-air galleries for Baltimore artists. By reimagining temporary fencing as cultural space, AWIP brings artwork that might otherwise live inside studios or institutions directly into the public realm — connecting artists, neighborhoods, and new audiences through the everyday experience of the city.
